United Earth was the state under whose jurisdiction fell Human colonies on Luna, Mars, Vega (as well as others), and later continued to exist as a political subdivision of the United Federation of Planets when its government helped found that interstellar state in 2161.
The term 'United Earth' would first be used following First Contact in 2063, especially by the forces of the New United Nations. However, the actual establishment of the government of United Earth would take place in 2130, with the signing of the Traité d'Unification.[1] Signed in Paris at the Place de la Concorde, future site of the Palais de la Concorde, this historic document served as United Earth's charter.
