History
- 2110: Humans found a colony on Altair III.[1][2]
- 2267: Altair IV formerly declares its independence from Altair VI, leading to open conflict. The Federation intervenes with peacekeepers and negotiates a resolution wherein all the inhabitants of the Altair system agree to a joint role in the new government, situated on Altair VI. The Federation also agrees to build a hospital on Altair IV.[3][4]
- 2269: The Altairians rejoin the UFP as the "Altair Quadrant".[2][5]

Notes
- Apparently, despite the indigenous spacefaring Altairian people, Humans still establish a colony on-planet.
