The Undersecretary of Legislative Affairs for Star Fleet is the senior civilian official for ensuring Star Fleet, its mission and it's requirements are properly represented within the Federation Council. The office coordinates legislative activity for Star Fleet and communications between the Federation Council and the department. The office also manages Star Fleet testimony before Council hearings. The Undersecretary advises the Secretary of Star Fleet on legislative matters, directs the office of Legislative Affairs, and acts as the Department's principal liaison with the Council.
The Undersecretary of Legislative Affairs is not a PC.
