The Undersecretary of Legislative Affairs for Star Fleet is the senior civilian official for ensuring Star Fleet, its mission and it's requirements are properly represented within the Federation Council. The office coordinates legislative activity for Star Fleet and communications between the Federation Council and the department. The office also manages Star Fleet testimony before Council hearings.
