General

• Andorian Imperial Guard versus Andorian Self-Defense Forces: Timo uses "Andorian Self-Defense Forces" (ASDF) in Guide:Sevaijen article, but also mentions the (canon) Andorian Imperial Guard (AIG), without any discernment. Therefore, to reduce confusion, any mention of the ASDF will be altered to refer to the AIG.

• Earth Fleet: In Guide:Djartanna and Guide: Vanguard, ships are mentioned as staying with the UESF after the war, or remaining active but not registered to the UFP Star Fleet. As there are indications that some ships were completely mono-species well after the war, and the Romulan War was fought by separate but jointly operating nation fleets, it stands to reason that some assets were not transferred to the new Star Fleet, but retained for local defense, especially at the beginning of the alliance. Certain older warships and support vessels (as indicated in the Guide and as prudent) will be kept in or near Earth territories, or escorting Earth-specific ventures. And, once the term "Star Fleet" is applied to the UFP, the UE government declares "Earth Fleet" as the term for the minor forces making up its defense (until Star Fleet formerly takes over all defense for Earth...whenever that is).

• NCC Registry: The NCC Registry project is representing the current state of Delta Dynamics, since issue #300, with no "future" ships listed. This is to allow for a "clean" registry to be developed, as ships (and ship classes) are introduced.

• Starbases built prior to the founding of the UFP (in 2161) will be designated as "United Earth Starbase" followed by its numeral.

Annual Checklist (1988) in progress:

• construction backdate process for DY-100 class

Where I Left Off

• I'm working on several rules aspects:
  • ingest and re-write the Fleet Combat rules (from Spacedock)
  • I'd like to also set up a 'Game Portal', to replace the Phase rules currently located in the Sidebar; this will involve relocating all Rules, Background and possibly Scratchpad articles to a new namespace ("Game" or "RPG")
  • Move orbital zone tables from talk page to Surveys
  • The Tech Level rules are being transcribed from VBAM CMC and need to be adapted to SFC
• The next Guide articles are: (see the Sidebar)
  • Note: Guide articles need to have the following completed:
    • Page created, with an Article template added and the Sidebar text portions populated.
    • Pictures identified/uploaded/cleaned up
    • data-mined for dates, events, corporations, people
    • known ships (of all classes) put into the NCC Registry On hold; will be done by Delta Dynamics publishing
    • Redirects created for class variants
    • Era gallery picture uploaded
    • The SFC Projects portion of the Sidebar updated

• The next Class article:
  • DY-110 class

• I'm also "building" the world of 1988: establishing the spaceports and shipyards that would have existed at that time on Earth
• Checklists development: review Purchase and Maintenance Costs

• Consider adapting Trekipedia's version of the Four Years War to what is incorporated from Timo's Guide.

• Work continues on transcribing the random missions from VBAM's With a Purpose campaign guide.
