- Of the extrasolar systems visited by Earth probes, five (including the Alpha Centauri system) are chosen for manned exploration by the Columbus program.[1]
- The five Columbus series spacecraft are readied for xenosystem exploration.[1]
- The Andorian Empire reaches its height with the possession of thirteen colonies outside its home system.[2]
