The Four Days War (also known as the Organian War) was a short but extremely intense conflict between the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire from June 21 to June 25, 2267. The war was characterized by high-intensity combat in three main theaters: Mardikian II, Enolia, and the Alshanai Rift. On Mardikian II, a massive Klingon ground force (outnumbering Federation defenders eight-to-one) attempted to seize the Outpost Inchon intelligence array. In space, the Battles of the Alshanai Rift saw the Federation 4th Fleet engage the Klingon Mera Zine Front in a confused, multi-day series of actions. Despite the violence, the main weight of both interstellar navies was never fully committed before the conflict was halted by the non-corporeal Organians, using their immense power to neutralize the weapons of both sides and forcibly imposing the Treaty of Organia, as well as establishing the Organian Neutral Zone. The Four Days War (also known as the Organian War) was a short but extremely intense conflict between the United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire from June 21 to June 25, 2267. While the "Four Days" moniker is standard in historiography, hostilities actually began roughly 30 hours before the official declaration, sparked by the Enolian Revolution and a subsequent Klingon invasion to "restore order" in the Archanis and Asparax sectors.

Timeline of the Four Days War
* June 17: The Federation moves to "Defense Condition Two"; the codeword "CONTEMPLATE" is transmitted to frontline fleets.
* June 21: The Klingon Empire formally initiates its invasion plan, Operation Torchbearer.
* June 21: President Ken Wescott announces the invasion to the Federation Assembly Council; war is officially declared shortly after.
* June 21: Klingon Battlegroup Kor lands on Organia to establish a military governorship.
* June 21–22: The Battle of Mardikian II escalates; the Federation 10th Division begins a fighting retreat toward Outpost Inchon after intense Klingon artillery barrages.
* June 22: The 4th Fleet makes contact with Klingon battleships in the Alshanai Rift, initiating the only major fleet engagement of the war.
* June 23: Klingon scouts harry the 4th Fleet through the Alshanai Rift; Star Fleet destroyers are forced to scatter but maintain a delaying action.
* June 24: The crisis reaches its peak as the Organians intervene to stop the conflict on their surface and across the border.
* June 25: The Code A-1 signal is transmitted, officially ending hostilities under the terms dictated by the Organian lifeforms.
