Romulan Star Empire
History
- 453: Vice Admiral Torek—leading a Debrune flotilla splintered from the Vulcan diaspora—invades Rigel V.[2][3]
- 474: Admiral Debrune leads the remainder of his diaspora contingent to Yadalla Prime.[1]
- He would leave a colony there, before proceeding on to the far-off region where Dessica II is located.
- 673: The Romulans cross interplanetary space to conquer the Zelvorians of Remus.[1]
- 674: The Romulan Age of Expansion begins, as planning for the next operation—an interstellar one—begins.[1][4]
- Task: the order of invasions is the Buqret first and the Xhuj-Noulleroi (two species sharing a planet) next, timing TBD.
- 935: The Romulan Civil War begins as traditional feudalists on Romulus and militarists on Remus engage in outright hostilities in the system's interplanetary space.[1]
- 938: The Romulan Civil War ends, as Admiral Valkis compromises with a power-sharing agreement that leads to the forming of the Romulan Senate, Emperor, and Star Empire.[1]
- 1270: The Romulan-Vulcan Wars begin, as a new intermittent wormhole in Romulan space—that opens in the Vulcan system—allows their forces to attack their former homeworld.[5][1]
- The Vulcans are never able to peice together who their attackers are.
- 1376: The Romulan-Vulcan Wars peter out unceremoniously, as the warmhole shifts terminus points, never to open again in either state's space.[4][5][1]
- 1411: Romulans develop the magnetic bottle drive.[1]
- 1696: Romulan Emperor Valkis XIV is overthrown by a military coup. A Senate-elevated Praetor is installed, backed by the military in return for presence on the Senate.[1][4]
- October 11th, 2267: The Bolarus Conference marks the first time that representatives of the Federation and Romulan governments meet face to face.[6]
- December 18th 2267: The Klingon Empire approaches the Romulan Star Empire with an offer of a technology exchange.[6]
- This would take place prior to the TOS episode "The Enterprise Incident".
- February 2268: The Klingon Empire and the Romulan Star Empire sign the Villam Pact, a technology treaty that also recognizes mutual claims along their borders.[6]
