Commander, Star Fleet
The Commander, Star Fleet is the most senior uniform officer assigned to serve in the Department of Star Fleet. The office is a military adviser and deputy to the Secretary of Star Fleet. In a separate capacity, the Commander is a military adviser to the Security Council (a committee of the Federation Council), the Secretary of Star Fleet and the President. The Commander reports directly to the Secretary of Star Fleet for the command, utilization of resources, and operating efficiency of the operating forces of the fleet and of the planetary, orbital and deep-space activities assigned by the Secretary. He is also the top uniformed commander over Star Fleet Marine Corps personnel and activities.
Commander is the only Fleet Admiral within Star Fleet. (They may also originate—though rarely—from the SFMC.)
The Commander of Star Fleet is a PC. The player, along with the gamemasters, assigns missions to the respective Joint Chiefs.
