Rigelian

The term Rigelian (or Rigellian) refers to any of the five "native" species of the overall Beta Rigel systems. These include the distinct species:

  • Chelarian: native inhabitants of Rigel III, in the Beta Rigel A system; also known as Rigellian (two Ls)
  • Jelna: native inhabitants of Rigel XVa, in the Beta Rigel BC system
  • Kaylar: native inhabitants of Rigel VII, in the Beta Rigel A system
  • Orion: transplanted inhabitants to Rigel VII, in the Beta Rigel A system
  • Zami: transplanted inhabitants to Rigel V, in the Beta Rigel A system
